29 Countries Sign World AI Cooperation Organization Charter on July 19

According to Xinhua News Agency, 29 countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe signed the founding charter of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization in Shanghai on July 19. The organization will focus on three key areas: strengthening AI capacity building through policy exchanges, technical cooperation, and joint research to enhance developing nations' access to AI technologies and services; establishing supply-demand matching platforms to promote resource integration and AI-related scientific and industrial collaboration; and supporting the UN Global Digital Compact framework and sustainable development goals to advance a fair and equitable global AI governance system.
