6.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northwestern Mexico on June 30

According to Mexico's National Seismological Service, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck southwestern Sinaloa state on June 30 at 1:45 p.m. local time, approximately 116 kilometers west of Guasave. The quake had a depth of approximately 5 kilometers. No casualties have been reported.
