Alibaba AI Business Enters Commercial Phase, Targets 30 Billion Yuan Revenue in 2026

According to South China Morning Post, Alibaba said its AI business has entered commercial phase, with expected AI revenue of 30 billion yuan (US$4.41 billion) in 2026, with AI agents contributing more than half of cloud sales.

The company plans to spend more than 430 billion yuan (US$63.2 billion) over three years on AI infrastructure, cloud chips, and models. Alibaba's current AI products include the Qwen consumer app and Wukong platform for enterprise users.
