According to E-Daily, Alteogen, South Korea's largest KOSDAQ-listed biotech company, postponed its planned KOSPI listing today, deciding to remain on KOSDAQ. The company's board resolved to maintain its current listing after reassessing capital market conditions and government policies aimed at revitalizing the KOSDAQ market.
Alteogen noted that its projected KOSPI 200 weighting would be approximately 0.3%, down 69% from estimates made in 2025, with external analysis forecasting net passive fund outflows of around 360 billion won if the transfer proceeded. The company determined that remaining on KOSDAQ better serves shareholder value and long-term growth strategy.
