Anthropic Files for IPO Valued at $965B on June 2, Led by Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs

According to Beating, Anthropic secretly filed its S-1 registration statement with the SEC on June 2, with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase serving as lead underwriters. The filing follows the completion of its Series H funding round in late May, which raised $65 billion at a $965 billion valuation, making it the world's highest-valued AI startup and surpassing OpenAI.

According to Bloomberg, Salesforce's stake in Anthropic is valued at approximately $5 billion, stemming from its $50 million cumulative investment since early 2023. Anthropic's annual revenue run rate has exceeded $47 billion.
