According to Xinhua, experts from Argentina’s National Laboratory and the Carlos Malbran Research Institute arrived in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego province, on May 18 to investigate hantavirus. The team will set traps to capture rodents, including long-tailed dwarf mice, linked to hantavirus transmission.
