According to satellite data firm Tathya.earth, Australian coking coal mines’ recovery has stalled on May 14, with activity at Goonyella Riverside and Centurion projects declining after earlier improvements. The Goonyella Riverside operation, a joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi, has failed multiple production recovery attempts over the past six months, while Centurion, operated by Peabody Energy, also shows weak performance.
