According to Bloomberg, Bank of America has appointed senior trading executive Adam Dixon as global head of digital asset transformation. Dixon, a 20-year company veteran, was previously head of global markets financial resource management and will coordinate the bank's digital asset initiatives from London, including cryptocurrency trading, tokenized deposits, stablecoins, digital collateral mobility and custody services.
Dixon will report to Bernie Mensah, president of international, and Thong Nguyen, head of global strategy and enterprise platforms. The appointment reflects a shift across major financial institutions moving beyond research toward enterprise-level digital asset infrastructure.
