Bank of Canada Targets Mid-to-Late 2027 for Stablecoin Regulation Framework Launch

According to Reuters, Bank of Canada Deputy Governor Carolyn Rogers testified before the Senate that stablecoin regulatory framework design work is underway, with an expected launch in mid-to-late 2027. Rogers noted the previously targeted early 2027 timeline was more aggressive.
