GateNews

According to S&P Global Market Intelligence economist Harumi Taguchi, the Bank of Japan may raise its policy rate from 0.75% to 1.0% in July, with further increases in December and 2027 bringing the rate to 1.5%. The hikes could accelerate if oil price increases and yen weakness intensify inflation concerns.
