According to Blockaid, in a community alert, the BarnBridge Smart Yield governance proposals #14 and #15 pose token authorization risks on Ethereum. Proposal #14 is in an executable grace period, while proposal #15 is queued for execution at 09:23:58 UTC on July 16. If maliciously executed or upgraded, these proposals could compromise existing token authorizations.
Blockaid advised users to immediately check and revoke related authorizations for USDC, DAI, USDT, GUSD, and RAI. No funds have been confirmed stolen thus far. Blockaid warned users not to trust links in replies or accounts claiming support, and stressed the use of trusted authorization management tools for revoking approvals only.
