According to The Block, Base network has adopted Succinct’s SP1 zero-knowledge virtual machine and Trusted Execution Environments today to enhance its cryptographic security. The integration aims to deliver 1-day transaction finality by replacing Base’s multi-day optimistic rollup challenge period with cryptographic finality, enabling faster and more secure capital transfers back to Ethereum mainnet. Succinct’s technology currently secures approximately $4 billion in digital assets across protocols including Polygon, Mantle, and Celestia.
