Bhutan Transfers 533 BTC Worth $34.5M to Binance, Holdings Drop Below 1,750 BTC

According to Arkham onchain analytics, the Royal Government of Bhutan transferred 533 BTC valued at $34.5 million to cryptocurrency exchange Binance in multiple batches from a wallet linked to Druk Holding & Investments, the country's state investment wing. The largest single transfer involved 227.194 BTC worth approximately $14.7 million.

Bhutan's remaining bitcoin balance now stands at 1,749.96 BTC, representing a decline of roughly 11,250 BTC from its October 2024 peak of 13,000 BTC. The government's total wallet value is $113.7 million. Outflows from Bhutan-linked wallets have exceeded $230 million since the start of 2026, according to Arkham data.
