According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin fell to about $62,530 on Friday, roughly 2.6% below its daily opening, as US forces conducted strikes on Iran for a seventh consecutive night and a selloff in semiconductor stocks accelerated globally. BTC recovered during the session to close near $64,110, trading around $64,860 at the time of writing with a market capitalization near $1.30 trillion.
The Nasdaq Composite closed down 1.40% after falling as much as 2.44% intraday, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index lost 7.8% over three sessions. Brent crude settled at $88.10 a barrel, up 4.6% on the day and about 16% over the week, as military tensions in the region persisted.
