According to The Block, Bernstein analysts noted that despite Bitcoin spot ETF net outflows of $2.6 billion in 2026, the long-term value storage thesis for Bitcoin remains intact. Combined inflows from ETFs and corporate treasuries reached approximately $12 billion year-to-date (compared to $60 billion in 2025), with corporate treasury accumulation as the primary offsetting force.

Glassnode data shows 61% of circulating Bitcoin supply has been idle for over one year. MicroStrategy has raised $7.5 billion through STRC preferred stock offerings to acquire approximately 100,000 Bitcoin, with its $53 billion Bitcoin position capable of covering over 30 times its annual $1.2 billion cash dividend.
