According to Beating, ByteDance's Seed division launched a STEM scientist program on July 23 to recruit 100 leading researchers. Participants will collaborate with the Seed team for approximately 6 months to solve real-world research problems using AI. The initiative offers two participation tracks: scientist advisors for university scholars and industry experts, and doctoral internships for current STEM PhD students. ByteDance will provide computing resources, AI team collaboration, and compensation. Applications close on September 30, 2026, and participants must engage in in-person activities in Beijing's Haidian district.
