Cardano Token ADA Hits Five-Year Low of $0.166, Down 42% in a Month

ADA0.24%

According to IBTimes US, Cardano's native token ADA hit a five-year low of $0.166 on June 11, down approximately 42% in a single month and 95% from its 2021 peak of $3.10.

Input Output Global confirmed that a partition bug traced to a delegation-transaction vulnerability dating back to 2022 briefly split the Cardano chain into two competing histories on the same day. No user funds were lost, and node upgrades to versions 10.5 and 10.5.3 are rolling out to address the issue.
