Cathay Pacific Forecasts H1 2026 Net Profit of 5-6.5 Billion HKD, Up 62% YoY

Cathay Pacific Airways forecasted H1 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders of 5-6.5 billion Hong Kong dollars, compared to 3.7 billion HKD in the same period last year. The forecast includes approximately 1.4 billion HKD in gains from dilution of the group's stake in Air China.

In June, the carrier transported 2.583 million passengers, up 12% year-over-year, while cargo volume rose 9% to 144,800 tonnes. For the first half, passenger traffic reached 16 million, up 17%, and cargo volume increased 9% to 868,900 tonnes.
