CBOT Corn Futures Fall 1.73% After USDA Crop Inventory Report on June 11

According to Bloomberg, Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) corn futures fell 1.73% to $4.39 per bushel on Thursday (June 11) after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its crop inventory report at 00:00 Beijing time, triggering sharp volatility across grain markets.

The Bloomberg grains index declined 0.75% to 29.3301 points; wheat futures dropped 0.21% to $5.8625 per bushel, while soybean futures fell 0.37% to $11.3425 per bushel. Livestock futures posted gains: lean hog futures rose 0.39%, live cattle up 0.47%, and feeder cattle up 1.45%. ICE Arabica coffee futures surged 2.66%, and Robusta coffee gained 3.31%.
