CBOT Corn Futures Rise 1.5% on USDA Report, Down 8.2% for June

According to Bloomberg, CBOT corn futures surged 1.51% to $4.3650 per bushel on June 30, as the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its quarterly report. The Bloomberg Commodity Index for grains climbed 1.19% to 29.1626 points, rebounding significantly from the day's low of 28.5446 points following the USDA announcement. Despite the intraday rally, corn futures declined 8.20% for the month of June.
