China Coast Guard Drives Off Japanese Fishing Vessel Entering Territorial Waters Near Akatsuka Island on July 7

According to China Coast Guard spokesperson Jiang Lve, on July 7, a Japanese fishing vessel named Zuihomaru illegally entered Chinese territorial waters near Akatsuka Island. Chinese Coast Guard vessels took necessary control measures and warned the vessel to leave. The China Coast Guard stated it will continue law enforcement operations in the territorial waters of the Senkaku Islands and their affiliated islands to safeguard national territorial sovereignty and marine rights.
