China Discovers 783,000 Tons of Chromite Deposits in Tibet Lhobrak, Latest Finding

According to China’s Ministry of Natural Resources, the Lhobrak mining area in Tibet has discovered 783,000 tons of new chromite deposits, marking a significant breakthrough in deep exploration. In a separate discovery, explorers found a fourth type of chromite deposit in the Dongqiao region of Tibet for the first time globally, adding 1,146,300 tons of associated chromite ore reserves and expanding exploration potential for China’s chromite resources.
