China Refutes EU Yuan Valuation Concerns, H1 Trade with EU Grows 14.2%

According to Lin Weilong, director of China's Ministry of Commerce Policy Research Office, China rejects recent EU concerns over yuan undervaluation on July 28. Lin stated that discussing alleged currency issues is not conducive to stable development of China-EU economic and trade relations. China-EU bilateral trade reached $447.88 billion in the first half of 2026, up 14.2% year-over-year, reflecting deep integration of supply chains and mutual advantages between the two economies.
