China's AI Application Rate Among Large-Scale Industrial Enterprises Surpasses 30%, Humanoid Robots to Hit 100,000 Units in 2026

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Deputy Director-General Gan Xiaobiao at a Shanghai press conference on July 7, China's large-scale industrial enterprises have achieved an artificial intelligence application adoption rate exceeding 30%. The ministry projects that humanoid robot production will surpass 100,000 units this year, with robotics beginning to enter factories and production lines. The ministry is implementing specialized initiatives including "analog-digital resonance" and "humanoid robots and embodied intelligence real-world training" to identify high-value application scenarios in manufacturing, the primary battleground for AI-driven technology.
