According to Shanghai's Director of Information and Economics Tang Wenkan on July 7, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will run from July 17 to 20 in Shanghai, focusing on world models, open-source AI agents, AI coding, token economy, and other trending topics.

The conference will premiere Huawei's largest-scale Atlas 950 supercluster, MiniMax M3 multimodal large language model, Jiebu Agent operating system, near-memory computing 3D chips, and the world's first AI agent smartphone, alongside humanoid robots and AI dexterous hands.
