China's ChiNext Index Falls 4.37% on Friday; U.S. Stocks Rise as Asian Retreat Spreads

According to Jin10, on July 10, China's major stock indices fell sharply. The ChiNext Index dropped 4.37% to 3,842.73 points, while the Sci-Tech 50 Index (科创50) slid 5.53% to 2,064.98 points. The Shanghai Composite Index declined 1% to 3,996.16 points, and the Shenzhen Component Index fell 2.29% to 15,046.67 points. In contrast, U.S. stocks ended the session with modest gains: the S&P 500 rose 0.42% to 7,575.29 points, the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.29% to 26,281.61 points, and the Dow Jones Index added 0.29% to 52,637.01 points.
