China's Food Imports and Exports Reach 594.86 Billion Yuan in First Four Months, Up 6.5% YoY

According to China’s General Administration of Customs, China’s food imports and exports reached 594.86 billion yuan in the first four months of 2026, up 6.5% year-over-year. Imports totaled 409.22 billion yuan, up 8.8%, while exports reached 185.64 billion yuan, up 1.9%. The data was released at the 2026 APEC Food Safety Cooperation Forum held on May 12.
