Wang stated that the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Solomon Islands represents a historically correct choice. He expressed China's willingness to work with the Solomon Islands' new government to advance bilateral relations. Wang emphasized that China's development of partnerships with Pacific island nations aims to strengthen South-South cooperation and promote mutual development, without geopolitical intentions or pursuit of spheres of influence.
