According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on May 21, China maintains a consistent and stable position and policy on the Korean Peninsula issue. When responding to a reporter's question regarding differences between recent China-U.S. and China-Russia summit statements on North Korean denuclearization, Guo stated that China will continue to play a constructive role in advancing political resolution of the Korean Peninsula issue in its own way.
