China's Han Zheng Meets Belarus PM Turichenko on June 6, Reaffirms Strategic Partnership

According to Jin10, China's Vice President Han Zheng met Belarus Prime Minister Roman Turichenko in Minsk on June 6. Han Zheng stated that Belarus is China's all-weather, comprehensive strategic partner, and reiterated China's unwavering commitment to developing relations and deepening cooperation with Belarus, while supporting Belarus in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and development interests. Both sides agreed to advance high-quality Belt and Road Initiative cooperation, strengthen government-level coordination mechanisms, and accelerate key projects including the China-Belarus Industrial Park. Han Zheng emphasized China's support for Belarus playing a greater role in international affairs and pledged closer coordination in multilateral institutions to uphold true multilateralism and defend the common interests of the Global South.
