China's Ministry of Public Security Advancing Four Legislative Projects on May 27

On May 27, China's Ministry of Public Security deputy director Yang Weilin announced at a State Council Information Office press conference that the ministry is advancing legislative projects including the Road Traffic Safety Law, Law on Exit and Entry Administration, Law on Detention Facilities, and Law on People's Police. Yang stated that over the past five years, the ministry has led the drafting and revision of 23 laws and 19 administrative regulations, addressing public concerns on telecommunications fraud, juvenile delinquency, and other issues.
