China's NEA Encourages Industrial Green Microgrids on July 10

According to Jin10 Data, China's National Energy Administration released an energy conservation and carbon reduction action plan on July 10, outlining measures to accelerate industrial energy transition through 2028. The plan encourages factories with suitable conditions to build industrial green microgrids integrating photovoltaic, wind power, high-efficiency heat pumps, energy storage, hydrogen, waste heat recovery, and smart energy management systems. The NEA also promotes reducing coal consumption in self-supplied power units by using public electricity, large-scale cogeneration heating, and clean energy sources, while advancing green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol projects to replace fossil fuels.
