Clarity Act Enters Critical Two Weeks; Senate Vote Possible by End of July

According to Crypto in America, on June 29, bipartisan staff, the White House, and industry representatives will continue coordinating on outstanding issues within the Clarity Act during the Senate recess through July 13, including integration of Senate Banking and Agriculture committee versions, ethics provisions, and anti-money laundering requirements. If consensus is reached, the bill could be submitted for Senate floor vote as early as late July or early August; however, market participants note that failure to pass before the August congressional recess would significantly reduce the likelihood of legislative completion this year.
