Claude Code Defaults to Running Sub-Agents in Background; New Feature in Gradual Rollout

According to BlockBeats, on June 30, Claude Code creator Boris Cherny announced that the next version will default to running sub-agents in the background. Users can now discuss plans with Claude while the system automatically completes code refactoring, testing, and pull request submissions in the background. If front-end execution is needed, users can simply request it verbally. The feature is currently in gradual testing with select users and represents a further simplification of Claude Code's workflow operations.
