CME FedWatch: 97.6% Probability Fed Holds Rates in June Ahead of CPI Report

According to CME FedWatch data on May 12, the probability that the Federal Reserve will hold interest rates unchanged in June stands at 97.6%, with a 2.4% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut.

For July, the probability of holding rates steady rises to 95.6%, while the likelihood of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 4.4% and a 50 basis point cut is 0.1%.
