CrowdStrike Raises Full-Year ARR Guidance by $50M as CEO Cites AI Security Demand Tailwind

CRWD-0.34%

According to CEO George Kurtz on CNBC's Mad Money on Thursday (June 5), CrowdStrike raised its full-year net new annual recurring revenue guidance by more than $50 million, reflecting accelerating demand for AI security solutions. Kurtz said AI-powered cyber threats are becoming a growing tailwind for the company. He noted that CrowdStrike's AI Detection and Response platform's second-quarter pipeline had already exceeded $50 million, with 250% sequential growth, as businesses seek ways to safely deploy artificial intelligence across their organizations.

Kurtz pushed back on concerns that AI will reduce the need for cybersecurity vendors, arguing instead that AI makes attackers more capable and increases demand for comprehensive security platforms.
