CrowdStrike Appoints Ex-Nvidia Executive Dr. Bartley Richardson as Chief AI Officer

CrowdStrike announced on June 3 that it had appointed former Nvidia executive Dr. Bartley Richardson as chief AI and autonomous systems officer. Richardson previously led agentic AI initiatives and cybersecurity AI development at Nvidia. The cybersecurity company also reported strong first-quarter fiscal 2027 results, with revenue rising 26% year-on-year to US$1.39 billion and annual recurring revenue reaching US$5.51 billion. CrowdStrike raised its full-year net new ARR guidance by more than US$50 million.

The company's board also approved a four-for-one stock split, to be issued as a stock dividend.
