Crypto Market Falls 0.94% as CLARITY Act Vote Delayed Past August Recess

According to Senate leader John Thune, the crypto market traded at $2.21 trillion on Monday, down 0.94%, amid news that the CLARITY Act will not clear the Senate floor before the August break. Betting odds on the bill's passage fell to 37% from above 80% in spring. The legislation would clarify which U.S. regulator oversees which digital assets.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded outflows of $225.18 million on Thursday and $240.08 million on Friday, ending a seven-day buying streak that began July 14. Total net assets in spot Bitcoin ETFs declined to $77.82 billion from $80.94 billion.
