Czech PM Says Military Spending May Miss NATO's 2% GDP Target This Year

According to state broadcaster CCTV, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said recently that the country may fail to meet NATO's military spending target of 2% of GDP this year, citing fiscal shortfalls inherited from the previous government. The Czech government will "make maximum efforts" to reach the goal and commits to achieving NATO's newly set target of 3.5% of GDP by 2035.
