Dongfeng Motor Recalls 68,265 N7 and N6 Vehicles Over Throttle Pedal Defects

According to Dongfeng Motor Co. Ltd., on May 22, the company announced a recall of 68,265 vehicles, including 49,465 units of the 2025-2026 Dongfeng Nissan N7 and 18,800 units of the N6, produced between March 28, 2025 and March 18, 2026. The vehicles have defective throttle pedals that fail to return smoothly due to internal friction pad wear after prolonged use, creating a safety hazard.

Dongfeng Motor will replace the throttle pedal assemblies at no cost. N6 vehicles will also receive a compatible brake pedal replacement to address the issue.
