Eight Chinese Government Agencies Plan to Build 50,000 Industrial 5G Private Networks by 2030

According to a joint policy statement released on June 30, eight Chinese government agencies including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced plans to build 50,000 industrial 5G private networks by 2030. The initiative aims to deepen the integration of industrial internet and digital economy, with targets including expanding industrial identification and resolution services, establishing approximately five internationally influential comprehensive platforms, and driving applications across 207 industrial sectors. By 2030, the core industrial internet sector is expected to generate added value exceeding 2.5 trillion yuan, becoming a significant component of new productive forces.
