According to CCTV, on May 30, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development appealed a Moscow arbitration court ruling that ordered it to pay approximately EUR 200 billion to Russia's Central Bank to compensate for asset freezes. The court approved immediate enforcement of the judgment on May 26, following the initial ruling issued on May 15.
