Exa Labs Completes $250M Funding Round Led by a16z, Valuation Rises to $2.2B

According to ChainCatcher, AI search startup Exa Labs completed a $250 million funding round led by a16z in May 2026, raising its post-money valuation to $2.2 billion. The funding represents more than a threefold increase from the company's $700 million valuation in autumn 2025. Exa Labs focuses on building search engine infrastructure for the AI era.
