Fed's Barkin: No Signs of Labor Market Tightening, Balanced Employment Conditions

According to Richmond Federal Reserve President Barkin, the U.S. labor market currently shows signs of equilibrium with no overall increase in hiring demand. "I haven't seen any changes in the employment market," Barkin said after a speaking event in Virginia, noting that while technology and healthcare sectors show rising demand, the overall job market remains balanced. Among employers, Barkin added, "I don't see the kind of concerns I would call bubbles or tightness."
