Gate is orderly progressing the migration of relevant EEA users to this platform.
Gate's European entity, Gate Technology Ltd, has obtained a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), covering crypto asset trading, order execution, operation of a trading platform, and the custody, management, and transfer of assets on behalf of clients. This entity is also authorized under the Malta Financial Services Act to provide related payment services.
As a MiCA-authorized CASP, Gate Technology Ltd is regulated under the MiCA framework, and its license has been passported across EEA member states including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. Relevant services for EEA users will be gradually transitioned to the Gate Technology Ltd platform, and affected users will receive subsequent detailed notifications.
