Gate Spot WebSocket Simple Binary Encoding (SBE) data push functionality has been deployed in the simulated trading environment; developers can connect in advance to test.

Gate News reports that, according to Gate’s official announcement, the spot WebSocket simple binary encoding (SBE) data push feature has been officially launched in the simulated trading environment. SBE is a high-performance binary serialization format; compared with the traditional JSON format, it has lower decoding latency and a smaller message size, which can effectively improve the efficiency of processing market data, especially for latency-sensitive high-frequency trading scenarios.

Developers can connect in the simulated environment in advance for testing. The feature is currently available only in the simulated trading environment; it is not available in the live trading environment yet. The live rollout time is pending, and Gate will issue a notice in advance before the official launch.
