Gate TradFi stocks are now supported for transferring into and out of U.S. and Hong Kong stocks, with no stock transfer fees, completed within 3–15 business days.

Gate News reports that, according to an official Gate announcement, Gate’s TradFi stock function now supports requests to transfer US and Hong Kong stocks into and out of the platform. Users can submit an inbound transfer request to move stocks held at an external broker into Gate, or submit an outbound transfer request to transfer stocks from a Gate stock account to another broker.

The stock transfer uses the FOP transfer method: US stocks are processed via DTC, and Hong Kong stocks are processed via CCASS. Gate does not charge any stock transfer fees, and stock transfers are expected to take 3–15 business days. Users can perform inbound or outbound operations in the TradFi Stocks module of the Gate App and monitor processing progress through the application records.

Stock transfer application statuses include Processing, Completed, and Withdrawn. Stock transfers typically require coordination between both brokers and the market process; the actual completion time depends on how efficiently both brokers handle the process and how the market process progresses.
