Germany Signs $324 Million Missile Contract for F-35 Fighters, Becomes Fifth Adopter of Joint Strike Missile

According to weapons manufacturer Kongsberg, Germany recently signed a contract worth approximately 324 million euros for air-to-ground cruise missiles for its F-35 fighter jets. The company stated that Germany became the fifth country to select the Joint Strike Missile for F-35 aircraft in June 2025, and has now signed an additional missile delivery contract under a bilateral government-to-government trade agreement between Norway and Germany.
