Global Liquidations Hit $1.797B in 24 Hours, Long Positions Account for $1.597B

According to CoinGlass, over $1.797 billion in crypto positions were liquidated globally in the past 24 hours, affecting 277,481 traders. Long positions accounted for $1.597 billion of liquidations, while short positions represented $181 million. Bitcoin led liquidations with $58.13 million, followed by Ethereum with $25.64 million. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, totaling $27.49 million.
