Global Liquidations Hit $278 Million in 24 Hours, Long Positions Account for $150M

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, global crypto markets liquidated $278 million in the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $150 million and short positions $127 million. Bitcoin longs saw $41.43 million liquidated while shorts experienced $30.35 million in liquidations; Ethereum longs saw $31.77 million liquidated and shorts $32.66 million. A total of 99,027 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Binance BTCUSDT worth $8.05 million.
